Biography
Professor Ling Zhang is a scholar of modern and contemporary cinema with a focus on East Asian film cultures, documentary practices, and transnational media circulation. Her work bridges film theory, visual anthropology, and cultural history to examine how moving images mediate memory, labor, and public life.
